Stage Two WRX STI

We have all either had the dream of modifying a WRX or STI or are currently on that journey now. We never really know where this journey of test fitting and playing around will take us, but that's okay, its part of the ride. And lets also be frank, we are never done modifying. There is always something new we can add to spruce up our engine bay or squeeze a few more horses out of the engine. Its because of this wild car craze that we decided to share our Journey.

Stage Two - 2006 WRX

I purchased a 2006 Subaru WRX for $10,000 with 44xxx km's on the clock with the hope of one day seeing it compete on the track. There have been many joyful moments as well as stressful ones along the way, but I can say, it has all be well worth it. There have been many modification done from the original vehicle over the years, in and between life, work and study. The current form my WRX holds is more or less complete for the moment until I have to time and funds to do a full swap and rebuilt of the entire engine, ECU, transmission, running gear and gearbox.

2006 WRX

Engine: EJ25 WRX motor, Grimspeed cold air intake with carbon fiber airbox, Trust timing belt, Perrin radiator shroud, alternator cover and battery cover, K&N Air filter, Perrin oil filter and catch can.

Transmission: 5 speed WRX transmission, Exedy stage two clutch, PRORACE pedal cluster.

Suspension: BC Racing BR coilovers, ULTREX front and rear strut bars, Sway-a-way front and rear sway bars, Whiteline bushing and mounts.

Brakes: WRX OEM calipers, Project Mu Type HC+ front and rear, DBA T3 slotted and vented calipers front and rear, HEL braided brake lines front and rear, Winmax brake fluid.

Wheels and Tyres: ROH Azzuro Matt gunmetal grey, 18x9 235/40 front and rear, Dunlop SP Sport MAXX 050+

Interior: Genuine Sparco P310 Racing wheel, Genuine Sparco quick release and boss hub, Genuine Sparco Pro2000 Racing seats (Driver and Passenger), Genuine Sparco Seat adaptors, mounts and rails, Genuine Sparco Blue 4pt GT Racing Harnesses (Driver and Passenger), NRG Harness bar, Rear seat delete, Custom Gauge Racebox (Oil, Boost, AFM), Battery isolating switch.
